We begin the business from home production that establish on 1980, that we just supply the local market Jakarta, Surabaya, needs and as a sub supplier from a hotels contractor around Java Island
On March, 1992 hat we just
supply the local market Bali Island
On March 2, 1995 we have built a warehouse and factory to fulfill any inquiry of
our value customers for export market. The first market exports Singapore
and Australia and now a day, our product to supply some retail business
furniture in USA. Wide selection furniture for your house and garden. Custom
made products can be produced to improve upon original specifications provided
by our clients.
Each piece of product is thoroughly inspected for craftsmanship and wood
quality.
Since first day of December 2000 we also produced a bamboo combination with teak
wood, namely bamboo combination furniture, and Woodcarving Relief
We use both old and new teak and mahogany wood for our entire product. These
types of woods have a very high oil of content, which make it resistant to
splintering, rotting, insect. We use traditional and modern method in gaining
the minimum 14%, to make sure that our products are extreme weather resistance.
As part of our commitment to protecting the environment and the need to sustain long-term supply, we use teak wood and mahogany wood from plantations that are now owned and managed by the Indonesian Government. Their department Forestry and Plantation of Republic of Indonesian, Perum Perhutani, is responsible for managing a strict policy regarding the size and quantity of trees felled each year.
Perum Perhutani diligently apply the policy of cutting and replanting that has been the basis of successful teakwood cultivation on Java since the middle of the 19th century. This policy not only ensures a continuing supply of this valuable timber, but also provides local employment.
Gelar Usaha Cemerlang Furniture is proud of its business relationship with Perum Perhutani and fully supports their environmental policies.
Since their first launching
day of December 20, 2000, we have received many orders for our
products on Rattan Furniture. Rattan Furniture is the most favorite for most of
